Dr. Brian Jung

Background

Dr. Brian Jung is originally from Korea and moved to Alberta when he was young. He studied Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta.

He earned numerous research and academic scholarships during his time at the university while also serving a volunteer capacity with SHINE. After graduating, he pursued his passion for dentistry and undergone an extensive training in dental surgeries, such as dental implant, wisdom teeth extraction and gum grafting.

He enjoys working with the team as well as the new technologies of modern dentistry to offer solutions to his patients. Dr. Jung brings personalized care, and he always strives to provide the highest quality dental work for his patients. Dr.Jung is also actively involved in a number of study clubs and CE courses to expand his dental knowledge to provide better care for his patients.

Dr. Joanne Lim

Background

Dr. Jung Yeon (Joanne) Lim is originally from South Korea and moved to Canada during high school. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of British Columbia. Dr. Lim greatly enjoys building meaningful connections with her patients and improving their oral health. She is dedicated to providing excellent care that aligns with their functional and esthetic goals. Outside of clinic, Dr. Lim enjoys spending time with her friends, going on nature walks, and trying out different restaurants. Dr. Lim is excited to meet new patients!

Dr. Jeff Kim

Background

Dr. Jeff Junpyo Kim was born in South Korea and has been a long term Vancouverite since his youth. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Life Science from the University of British Columbia, he then completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Before coming back to Vancouver, he worked as a full time dentist for several years in Yukon Territory experiencing the true north. He continuously invests his time in learning modern dental technology and trends by taking on-going continuing education courses and seminars, in order to provide the best dental care to his community.

His expertise is reflected with a wide range of dental services:

He is also very passionate about teaching other dental colleagues with the knowledge he has gained throughout his dental career. He is currently in association with Gangnam International Implant Academy, WISE Institute by Hiossen Implant, and a previous BITES Institute member.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing tennis in summer, snowboarding in winter. His another true passion is about studying liquors, which he holds WSET Level 3 Certificate in all three cores of wine, spirits, and sake. Not to mention he studied extensively about coffee as well, being a graduate of SCA Coffee Diploma and Italian Barista School (IBS).
